My strategies for RISK:

• Focus on 1 continent to start
• create buffer zones around your territories.
• create 1 or 2 two disposable border zones (with 1 o2 2 pieces on them), so you can easily trade it back and forth with an opponents, earning your cards without destroying too many armies
• talk smack to make people scared of each other, let them cause the bloodshed
• never hurt anyone too bad
• until
• you go for broke and don’t stop till you can’t

My predictions for LOST:

• Jacob’s nemesis is smokey/ the shadow of the giant, and we will be rooting for him by the end of the show

• Jacob stands for tech/ development. His nemesis is the protector of the island.
• The LOSTIES (and Juliette) have been blasted back to current time, still on the island

As you may have guessed, this has been a family weekend with the pops, consisting of single malt scotch, RISK, and Sci-fi.

Tomorrow is the mom portion of the family weekend, which will consist of heavy drinking and flaming desserts with our German neighbours, usually involving interrogations about my personal life and misplaced priorities concerning the wonderful Shelly whose only fault is that she chose me, centering on how I value my misguided declaration of Artisthood over all that is just and useful and reasonable in my world.
