Plus, he made me not hate a bronze sculpture. In fact, after reading Lou’s story about it, I ended up sorta loving it.

Bronze Wood

Now that’s an accomplishment no-one could possibly give a fuck about, even if it is quite an accomplishment. Seriously, even that spider ladies shit in bronze. Even that actual piece of shit in bronze. Art materials are just so irrelevant, don’t you think?

80’s nostalgia is simply much more contemporary than renaissance methods. That much is undeniable.

Oh yeah, plus he let the world know that Get Your War On is now animated. Of course, the thing won’t load on my browser, so I can’t tell if it is any good, but, well, it must be, or he wouldn’t blog it. Right?

    Thanks Chris. It was of course your prodding that got me blogging again. Again.

    I have to agree that without the story there’ not much to like about that sculpture.

    The animated GYWO lacks the both the serenity of the frozen deadpan clipart figures and the visceral karate chop of the 3 panel strips.
