‘huh’ is the war cry of irony.

I went to Grad School, and it seemed they were telling me that reference is depth. I talked to some artists, and it seemed they were telling me never to answer why. I talked to a curator, and it seems he was telling me that contemporary is king. And now it seems Ken Burns is telling me it is okay to care!

So if you can’t undermine irony with irony, and if being against something is not the same as being for something, then does my log curve of zero and infinity flatten into a ruler of its own ineptitude?

Once again, what I believe is unraveled by what I believe. I believe the opposite of everything I believe. I have said it. I mean it. But what does it mean?

This brought on by Ken Burns attack on Irony in his Open Source interview with Christopher Lyton.

Hmmm. . very interesting statement to consider especially for my work. You know we could have drove to Ken Burns’ house in Walpole NH and asked him to chat. Maybe I will. Also I met Christopher Lyton this summer. He was nice.
