Am about to go home and watch a movie and not think about the amount work I have to finish this week as it seems that I will be in Serbia most of next week – eeks!! Anyway, spent the day at Chrissie’s yesterday and it was absolutely lovely. There were planned protests in Gjilan and Chrissie wanted me to come out to get out of the way plus she wanted to natter and Vlada was in Nis. So we stocked up on food, went back to hers and had olives and coffee and sat ourselves on her balcony in the sun in her big wicker chairs with a cat on each lap and big floppy sun hats on and just read. Then she snoozed and I switched to her chair (Mahfouz never moved) and then I napped for a bit and then we made pizza and nattered more and I was getting major cat loving and I left around 9. Wonderful day really.
