The day started with a photograph of Fruit Stripe chewing gum:

And then we headed off for MassMoca, in the town of North Adams, where there is two of everything!
Here’s a few bad photos of the art:

Didn’t catch the name of this guy

That last one was the lesson of the day for me: Huang Yong Ping’s Travel Guide for 2000-2046, because it reminded me to close the loop, which he did by showing both the map peeled like an apple from a globe, and the peeled globe.
Plus he used MDF, which always makes me happy. His plywood dinoasaur was also very rocking, which made me wonder, do i judge art based on materials alone?
Anyway, we had some hotdogs and then stopped at a river.
First I swam in my underwear. Then we all followed Brinton as we built bridges and climbed trees and skuffed our hands and muddied our jeans and generally played with the river and the island like boys should when summer comes.
This picture is sucky because it shows us washing our hands after playing, which is boring and sissy.
But Elliott will probably have better photos.
Oh, and I found some stickers:
The other take home for the day is Greta Pratt, who could probably inform my lincoln thing.

Update, end of summer, returned to Rhode Island from Maine, North Carolina, Montana and Ghana, and found a letter from a collection agency and threats of towing and booting of my car if I didn’t pay the $300 the ticket had risen to. So, er, well, yeah, they find you, even out of state.
