In the cyberspace of System Shock, SHODAN is initially represented as an inverted blue-grey cone. After she has been hacked, the cone turns red, the surface shatters and four “tentacles” or “claws” grow from the top.

This is the first time I have ever linked to wikipedia. And it makes me feel lazy. How can I love Wiki so much and avoid Wikipedia just as ardently? I guess because wikipedia always feels like the easy way out and never the source itself.
