Hole with hole in hole

Head with hole in head.

Landscape with nothing to say.
I'd had these drawings sitting around for a few years. I drew them on the flight back from Nauru. But I didn't do anything with them until I was living in Serbia a few years later, too nervous those first few months to try my smart-ass public interventions as an American over there.
So I decided to turn them into little sculptures, in the corner of my little room. I guess its from all those years working only on computers, I always want to make everything real. So, a sculpture is more real than a drawing. And then real life is more real than a sculpture. So, now they're a sculpture. Then I guess they'll get bigger.
And then I'll make them real.
Dirt for Nauru, anyone?
